What is Nordic character?
Everyone knows the Nordic type of a person's appearance - tall, fair-haired, light-eyed, which is typical for the peoples of the northern regions. But what is Nordic character?
The origin of the term "nordic" and in the description of the character also left its mark ("nord" means "north"). A cold-blooded, stern, self-possessed person, similar in character to living conditions in the northern part of the world, is deservedly defined as a person with a Nordic character. He is little emotional due to the fact that he hides his emotions deep inside, sometimes tough in actions, categorical in making decisions, which is facilitated by the difficult living conditions in the northern latitudes, tempered and resistant not only to weather conditions, but also in the face of life's troubles.
People of a Nordic character endure life's difficulties with dignity, know how to hide emotions and show great restraint in critical situations. As a rule, people of the Nordic type of character are mentally more balanced, calm, calculating, far-sighted, which allows them to make effective decisions without hesitation and doubt.
A person with a Nordic character is reasonable, not talkative and reliable in those many situations in which a weak-willed person will retreat from action and may fail.
People of the Nordic temperament are good and reliable partners in life, but they have no time for emotions, so sometimes they may seem callous, and this is their feigned quality, they just skimp on emotions.
