How to save yourself from overheating of the body in the heat?
Despite the fact that life nevertheless originated in the warm corners of the planet and the organism, having gone through all the stages of evolution, genetically formed its own system of regulating its temperature, correlating it with the ambient temperatures, it never hurts to take note of several methods of cooling - to save from overheating organism.
Ordinary water is the main cooling component; in order to use it efficiently, you must:
- Drink more often than the usual drinking regime - a cup of water every hour;
- Drinking water should not be sweetened, it is better to prepare an extract of lemon, mint, basil (water tincture on the juice of leaves or fruits of these plants);
- Often take a shower or bath, but not with cold or hot water, but with water at room temperature, since cold water will start the heating mechanism (which somehow does not fit with the cooling process in the heat), and hot water will expand blood vessels and lower blood pressure , which can have a bad effect on well-being, because in the heat, the pressure can already decrease naturally;
- There is no need to turn on the air conditioner if it makes you feel freezing. It is enough to use the fan, but with a little trick: lower the fan to the floor and place a basin of cold water in front of it - the fan will start to create a light “sea breeze”, which has a very pleasant effect on the skin of the body;
- Use open windows or doorways (to the balcony or entrance in a private house) to create the effect of cooling with the help of street air, lead a wet cloth (for example, an ordinary cotton or linen sheet) to the door or window opening, so you will be protected from the draft and at the same time get fresh, humid indoor air;
- If you have been to hot countries, you probably noticed that there is a time period for siesta, when everyone leaves the streets, closes shops and relaxes in darkened rooms. Take this method of daily routine in the heat into service. Get up very early and go to bed in hot seasonal periods, but spend the daytime, when the sun is at its zenith and beats mercilessly, spend in a state of sleep, so you compensate for night and morning lack of sleep, and the body does not have to "sweat" unnecessarily during the daytime rest.
