When starting a pet such as a dog, you should consider several features of a dog living together in a house with people.
First, the dog must initially have a refuge in the house, apartment or room (if you share the same room with it). Sometimes, if space permits, the dog is assigned a separate room. The resting place for the dog should be away from heaters, stoves, fireplaces. Outdoor doghouses must be insulated and sealed from drafts and rains.
Secondly, the dog's feeding place must be chosen in advance. And be located so as not to be in the path of movement of people.
Third, the bedding (or mats) should be made of washable or washable materials so that they can be cared for regularly. There should be several beddings and rugs to replace the soiled one.
Fourth, the dog should have a food bowl that fits his size (pay attention to the pet's ears, they should not be dipped in the bowl of food). There should be two bowls: for food and for water, and the best option would be double bowls with stable legs so that the pet does not turn the contents of the bowl on the floor while eating. Bowls should be selected from inert materials (ceramic, enamel or stainless steel). If there is no one to feed the dog regularly during the day, it makes sense to purchase an automatic feeder, it programmatically doses the feed from a special container.
Fifth, a basin for washing is a very necessary thing for a dog, because dirty paws need to be washed somewhere, and the dimensions of an animal do not always allow the owner to wash their paws, keeping the dog by the sink.
Sixth, do not forget about toys for the dog, otherwise it will play your slippers, towels, flower pot, clothing details, shoes and everything that will be in its field of vision.
