Dyshidrosis of the skin.
Dyshidrosis of the skin is a skin disease of unspecified etiology, accompanied by the formation of a scattering of itchy intraepidermal vesicles filled with clear serous fluid. Bubbles can exist for up to ten days, after which they self-resolve (burst or collapse) with the formation of erosion.
The disease flares up in the spring and summer. The typical location of the scattering of bubbles is the skin of the palms and feet. Differential diagnosis of dyshidrosis is carried out with dyshidrotic eczema, toxicoderma, pustular palmar - plantar psoriasis, epidermophytosis, bullous impetigo.
Treatment of dyshidrosis is symptomatic and takes into account the possible allergic origin of the disease (allergy to drugs, food allergies, allergies to household chemicals, cosmetics), disruption of the gastrointestinal tract and the presence of dysbiosis.
Sedatives, antihistamines, B vitamins, probiotics (bifidumbacteria, lactobacilli) are prescribed. Locally, areas of the skin with resolved vesicles are treated with a solution of potassium permanganate, fucorcin, tanning and antiseptic plant infusions, salicylic and dermatol ointments are applied in the form of applications, in difficult cases, corticosteroid ointments are used.
In case of attachment of a microbial infection, ointments with antimicrobial components are used.
With skin dyshidrosis, a diet is indicated that excludes food additives that potentially catalyze allergic reactions.
People suffering from skin dyshidrosis need to observe the daily regimen and avoid stressful situations.
