What are test boosters?
Dietary supplements today have not bypassed such an important area of use for men as increasing testosterone levels and are called "testosterone boosters". As a rule, these supplements are included in the complex of sports nutrition and should contribute to an increase in muscle mass, male libido and increase strength.
The market for testosterone boosters is quite diverse, but as the results of their practical use show, none of them has the desired effect on testosterone levels in general. The most common test boosters, as well as the most popular ones, include:
- Aromatase blockers (Letrozole, Anastrozole, Exemestane),
- Tribulus terrestris,
- D-aspartic acid,
- Yohimbine,
- Peruvian poppy,
- Icariin (Horny Goat Weed),
- Trace element Zinc,
- Cholecalciferol (vitamin D).
Aromatase blockers lower estrogen levels and increase testosterone levels.
Tribulus, Yohimbine, Icariin, D-aspartic acid, Maca, at best, increase libido, increase vascular tone, which can increase blood pressure, but have no effect on testosterone levels.
Vitamins and minerals undoubtedly have an impact on health and hormonal levels, strengthen the structure of bone tissue, which is important for muscle growth. But even uncontrolled enthusiasm for trace elements and vitamins can have a detrimental effect on the body, as it causes an overdose and hypervitaminosis.
Test boosters are not recommended for use until 23 -25 years old. Testosterone boosters work more effectively after 30 to 40 years, when testosterone levels naturally decline.
