Supplements - a role in improving health.
According to scientists, human health depends on three factors: genetic predisposition, level of health care and quality of nutrition.
A person is not able to influence all three factors at the same time, but improving nutrition is practically the only opportunity to influence the health of his body. A diet that ideally corresponds to the term "balanced" should include about six hundred nutrients that are found in products of an expensive price category. Not every person can afford expensive foods in nutrition, which means that he will have to deny himself some useful substances. And in this case, dietary supplements come to the rescue - biologically active additives that are cheaper than products with a full set of nutrients and help, if necessary, replenish stocks of vitamins, minerals and other chemically active substances.
It is necessary to understand that dietary supplements are not drugs, rather they play the role of food additives to the main diet. Dietary supplements are used not every day, but from case to case, when a loading dose of some useful substance is needed. As a rule, these are periods of reduced immunity, weakening of the body by stress, mental and physical stress.
Supplements can be produced in the form of tablets, creams, ointments, balms and other pharmaceutical forms that are easy to use.
You should not pin hopes on dietary supplements to cure serious ailments - they are not adapted for these purposes. The substances of the dietary supplement, although they are called active, act superficially. But an excessive enthusiasm for biologically active additives can damage the body, since exceeding the critical level of any substance in the body can change the metabolism and, accordingly, the life of cells. The intake of dietary supplements is coordinated with the doctor, taking into account the history of diseases.
