Warts - causes of origin and treatment.
Warts are tumor-like outgrowths on the skin that occur due to various types of viruses, and not due to conventional wisdom from communicating with frogs and toads.
There are several types of warts: flat, vulgar (common), acrochords (papillomas - warts on the leg), genital warts. Having external differences, these types of warts are united by similarities in the pathways of spread - close contact with the skin or household items infected with the virus. The virus that causes the development of the wart is the human papillomavirus (it has several dozen varieties), the incubation period of which is from two to five months. This virus is a lover of places on the skin with increased sweating and increased fat content. It penetrates through microdamages in the skin: abrasions, punctures, cuts, cracks.
Warts can be located singly or in placers, have the appearance of a flesh-colored tubercle protruding above the skin surface, affect the skin of the extremities (the back of the hands, palms, soles of the feet, skin and mucous membranes of the genitals), the skin of the neck, face, shoulders, neck area.
Treatment of warts is not always in the field of the use of antiviral immunologically active drugs. More often, a positive result is given by chemical action on the wart (acids and alkalis) or mechanical action (physical action) - electrocoagulation, laser or freezing with liquid nitrogen.
In everyday life, it is possible to get rid of single warts on the skin of the hands and feet with the help of milkweed or celandine juice, which contain acids. But warts on the genitals are not removed at home, as you can injure (burn), but not get the result. Scattering of warts should also not be removed using folk methods, they tend to continue to develop in adjacent areas of the skin, since the main problem - the presence of a virus - has not been resolved.
