How to delay menopause?
Menopause is a period in the life of the female body that cannot be ignored, because this process is genetically programmed by nature itself. It was noticed that modern girls are ahead in their physiological development of the fair sex of the past centuries due to the development of acceleration, which means that their menarche begins earlier (at 13-14 years old, and not at 17-18 years old, as happened in old days). This circumstance also affects the moment of the onset of menopause (it also shifts).
With the onset of menopause, the reproductive function of the female body ends, and the restructuring of hormonal activity (a decrease in the level of estrogen, and then progesterone), which is associated with the function of the ovaries, leads to a distortion of many processes in the cardiovascular system, nervous system and endocrine system.
Of course, it is not possible to reanimate the fading activity of the ovaries even by hormone replacement therapy, since by the time of menopause their physiological capabilities are exhausted, but it is possible to delay the onset of unpleasant symptoms: increased sweating, hot flashes, instability of pressure, malfunctions of the nervous system, and a decrease in sex drive.
Hormone replacement therapy or taking hormonal contraceptives will have the necessary effect on the hormonal background of a woman. Hormone replacement therapy is not indicated in all cases, there are contraindications to it based on the woman's current state of health and the presence of certain diseases in the anamnesis.
Physical activity (jogging, brisk walking, swimming, Pilates, yoga, etc.) will make it possible to improve blood circulation in the pelvic organs.
The development of stress resistance will allow not to "unwind" the nervous system over trifles, because nervous shocks have a great impact on the general condition of the body and use the reserves of many of its systems. To maintain the nervous system at the level, you can take B vitamins and herbal sedatives.
There is no need to torment yourself with low-calorie diets, they prevent the body from replenishing the required amount of fats and proteins, and many vitamin and mineral components that support cardiovascular and nervous activity. In addition, a lack of weight in a certain period of life will lead to the development of osteoporosis, and this is one of the signs of developing menopause.
Hot flashes (hot flashes) are associated with dysregulation of heat exchange, which depends on the level of estrogen. To reduce discomfort during hot flashes, it is necessary to take additional measures that will not provoke the expansion of peripheral vessels to increase heat transfer:
- Dress for the weather and not "wrap yourself up" too much,
- Refuse to consume hot spices,
- Eat food and drinks almost cold,
- Install atmosphere cooling devices (air conditioners, fans) in the room,
- Refuse the consumption of alcoholic beverages - they by themselves dilate blood vessels,
- Be located away from heat sources: a heater, fireplace, radiators, as well as stoves and ovens (the atmosphere in the kitchen should be well cooled when cooking so as not to create stuffiness),
- During hot periods of the day, it is preferable to be in shady and well-ventilated places,
- Do not overuse physical activity, which will add sweating to the already existing signs of hot flush.
Menopause is accompanied by a deterioration in memory work, and this can be prevented by switching the brain work to remembering information that is still unfamiliar: to learn foreign languages, to acquire skills in an unusual business for ordinary life, for example, to master what you have never been able to do: plumbing work , renovation work, tailoring, etc.
Do not forget the fact that, despite the presence of such an unpleasant moment in a woman's life as menopause, the female sex has an advantage over the male sex: physiologically, the processes of the brain work in a woman are not subject to degradation processes longer than in a man, which makes it possible to postpone the moment the signs of marasmus appear for an indefinitely long period.
