Seborrhea of the skin is a skin disease associated with the pathological work of the sebaceous glands. As a result of neuroendocrine disorders, the work of the secretion of the sebaceous glands undergoes a change, which leads to the development of seborrhea in several of its manifestations: seborrhea with increased sebum secretion (oily seborrhea), seborrhea with reduced sebum secretion (dry seborrhea) and mixed type of seborrhea, when symptoms of both pathologies are present.
