Signs of pancreatitis.
Pancreatitis is a disease of the pancreas, in which the physiological process of secretion of pancreatic enzymes into the lumen of the duodenum is disrupted, their accumulation occurs in the tissues of the gland itself and the gradual destruction of tissues.
What affects the development of pancreatitis:
- Excessive overeating,
- An abundance of fatty and sweet foods,
- Passion for canned food, including juices,
- Regular lingering stress,
- Pancreatic injury,
- Drug intoxication,
- Circulatory disorders in the pancreas,
- Passion for alcoholic beverages and smoking,
- Operations on adjacent organs,
- Infections (viral, bacterial and parasitic),
- Abnormalities in the structure of the pancreatic ducts,
- Endocrine diseases,
- Tumors.
Signs of pancreatitis:
- Pain syndrome, may worsen after eating,
- Possible nausea, urge to vomit,
- Loss of appetite and weight loss,
- Stool disorder – diarrhea,
- Temperature rise is possible.
Where does pancreatitis hurt?
Pain syndrome in pancreatitis is located in the upper abdomen in the right or left hypochondrium ("under the spoon"). The pain can be shingles, radiating to the back. The pain syndrome is not relieved by analgesics or antispasmodics.
