Using an eyelash curler, you can curl your upper eyelashes upward every morning. This curl will give your eyes a wide-open look, which will make them appear larger. Eyelash curling is done before applying mascara to the eyelashes.
Using mascara you can make your eyelashes thicker. To do this, coat the eyelashes with mascara on the outer and inner sides of the eyelashes (and not just on the inner side of the eyelashes, as is usually done).
