How to make thick eyelashes yourself?
Today's beauty trends often use technology that can have immediate and long-term health implications. Hair extensions make the hairstyle heavier, thereby increasing the tension of the scalp and causing fatigue of the subcutaneous muscles. Glued or implanted eyelashes also weigh down the skin of the eyelids, cause inflammation of the skin and mucous layer of the eyelids, and the response may be loss of eyelashes and even cessation of their growth. Extended nails can cause structural changes in the natural growth of the nail plates. And, nevertheless, false and extended nails, hair and eyelashes are finding more and more admirers.
But the secret of beauty is that the beauty formula assumes results without the participation of modern makeup and cosmetology products. There are techniques for applying makeup that can change your appearance for the better without harming your skin, nails, hair, eyebrows or eyelashes.
Long and thick eyelashes always become the object of close attention of connoisseurs of eye beauty. This happens because eyelashes frame the shape of the eyes and refine it, emphasizing the shape of the eyes and the depth of their setting. Eyelashes are a protection for the eyes, but also a decoration for the eyes. You can also hide your gaze behind your eyelashes, giving it mystery.
There are several techniques for drawing eyes and tinting eyelashes that can fully reproduce the effect of length and thickness of eyelashes. Professional cosmetologists are familiar with these techniques, but it is useful to master some of them yourself in order to be able to do modern makeup at home without going to a cosmetology office.
How to make thick and long eyelashes yourself? To imitate long and thick eyelashes, you need to get a well-sharpened cosmetic pencil in a dark shade (combining with the desired eyelash color), liquid eyeliner with a stiff brush, an eyelash comb and an eyelash curler.
- On the upper eyelid along the expected eyelash growth line, it is necessary to apply a dotted line with a cosmetic pencil, making it thinner at the inner corner of the eye and thickening it towards the outer corner of the eye. Then blend the pencil, connecting the dotted lines with the tip of a hard eyeliner brush (without applying the liquid eyeliner itself). This will make your eyelashes appear thicker.
- To give the eyelids an almond-shaped outline, draw the corner of the eye near the lower eyelid with a dotted line and shading, but only from the outside of the corner of the eyes, starting from the middle of the lower eyelid. Drawing the contour of the lower eyelid at the inner corner of the eye brings the eyes closer together, and not drawing the inner corner of the lower eyelid expands the space between the eyes, creating the effect of wide-set eyes.
- If the eyelashes are too sparse, then dots are drawn between the eyelashes with a finely sharpened pencil. This allows you to visually simulate the thickness of your eyelashes. To make the eyelashes themselves appear thicker, it is necessary to shade the edge of the eyelid in the area of growth of each eyelash (at the very roots of the eyelashes). The same technique of drawing dots between the eyelashes can be done using liquid eyeliner, but it is advisable to have a waterproof eyeliner, otherwise it will spread, because the eyelids also have sweat glands.
- Using an eyelash curler, you can curl your upper eyelashes upward every morning. This curl will give your eyes a wide-open look, which will make them appear larger. Eyelash curling is done before applying mascara to the eyelashes.
- Using mascara you can make your eyelashes thicker. To do this, coat the eyelashes with mascara on the outer and inner sides of the eyelashes (and not just on the inner side of the eyelashes, as is usually done). Next, let the mascara dry, comb the eyelashes and cover them again with a layer of mascara. This will give both thickness and length to the eyelashes.
Today, short and sparse eyelashes cease to be a problem if you skillfully handle pencil, eyeliner and mascara. Professional home eyelash makeup will help you avoid side effects on eye health resulting from glued, extended and implanted eyelashes.
