My own psychologist >>>> Self-control is the path to success
Self-control is the path to success.
Scientists in the field of psychology and psychiatry have long noticed that a person has the ability to psychic self-regulation. This property is directly related to the will of a person, that is, with the ability of the psyche to work consciously: to make decisions consciously, to consciously do or not do things. It is the will that allows a person to move forward, and the ability to control his own behavior, thoughts and emotions creates the prerequisites for successful movement towards the set goals. Thus, the ability to control oneself is a successful life path.
Self-control allows a person to objectively assess their actions and not turn to third parties to correct these actions. The ability to direct impulsive thoughts or actions in the right direction allows a person not to expose himself to external influence from the environment and not to fall into dependence (especially pathological) on strangers or phenomena.
Thanks to self-control, you can suppress emotions that are harmful to your own health and those around you, control your own feelings, and fight complexes and addictions.
Self-control allows you to act rationally, not to make spontaneous decisions, and therefore make as few mistakes in life as possible.
What self-control implies:
- Ability to organize your day;
- Ability to plan and keep commitments;
- Adhere to a healthy lifestyle in food and recreation;
- Learn restraint and punctuality;
- Learn to understand the primary and secondary importance of affairs;
- Ability to deny yourself momentary desires in favor of health and future well-being.
Self-control is a daily exercise of willpower and mind. Self-control can help to achieve high results in almost any business that a person undertakes (in sports, studies, career, welfare). It is self-control that will help not to acquire bad habits and get rid of those already acquired. Therefore, self-control is the path to success, and uncontrolled behavior is the path to the failure of all undertakings.
