Personal growth - how to do without training.
Personal development is a process that begins at birth and continues throughout life. The formation of the personality is influenced by living conditions, environment, upbringing, self-development, natural abilities.
When they talk about personal growth, it is assumed that the development of personality will occur on the rise, and not down - to degradation. That is at every stage of his life path, a person will use all the resources at his disposal (external and internal) in order to improve his personal qualities.
Personal growth is a multifaceted concept. The psychology of personal growth includes:
- search and expansion of the range of interests in life;
- desire to improve existing skills and acquire new ones;
- the ability to build correct relationships with people around them without harming them;
- tolerance for the peculiarities of character and dissimilarity of other people;
- the use of innate abilities and the development of useful abilities;
- development of sustainable life principles;
- independence in decision making;
- responsibility for their actions,
that is mobilization, improvement of all individual opportunities for movement towards life goals (in other words, purposefulness).
When there are no goals in life, there is no desire to pave the way for them - a person begins to degrade personally. And aimless life becomes insipid, uninteresting, dull.
In order for a person to correctly orientate himself in his own desires, correlate them with the available opportunities and, as a result, arrange his life in the best possible way, they conduct personal growth trainings. In the process of conducting such trainings, each person's individual abilities are revealed, forced to believe in their own strengths, to prove to themselves that they are capable of much, you just need to be able to properly manage your resources.
In order to achieve personal growth, there is no need to attend trainings if a person himself is able to analyze his actions, evaluate his personal qualities and find them worthy use. But if a person for decisive actions to improve his own life needs psychological (moral) support from other people, approval from the outside, then such trainings will have a beneficial effect on his self-realization.
An independent path of personal growth consists of daily small achievements and victories over oneself (over one's own inertia, lack of faith in oneself, laziness, pessimism). For such purposes, a personal growth diary helps: a daily record of all small achievements, an analysis of failures, your own praise for good luck and an independent assessment of your success.
Personal growth is a thorny path through critical reflection on one's own personal qualities, correcting (correcting) shortcomings, making difficult decisions to change one's own, possibly already established, views on many things and continuing life in its higher quality version.
