Introverts and extroverts - who are they?
Modern psychology divides people according to the formed personality type into introverts and extroverts. These are not variants of mental deviation, as an ignorant person might think, but only characteristics of a person's behavior in a society of their own kind, formed during the period of his adaptation in society.
The process of forming a personality is not an easy thing. He is constantly influenced by both external factors and the internal state of the person himself. A type of behavior is gradually formed in which a person feels most comfortable with himself and the world around him.
Introverts are absorbed in their inner world, love to reflect, and differ in the depth of perception of all the phenomena that fall into their field of vision. They are much more attentive to themselves and those around them, although at first glance (both at the second and third) they seem to be people detached from the life around them and focused on themselves. It's hard to get to know an introvert, but if he let you into his world, then consider yourself lucky and you have a sympathetic and caring person next to you. Introverts prefer comfort, practical, comfortable clothing, which sometimes goes against fashion trends.
Introverts love solitude, so they relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the world around them. A characteristic feature of introverts is self-sufficiency, when they have enough of themselves for recreation and entertainment. Silence and loneliness are the main components of a prosperous life for an introvert. But this does not mean that they do not communicate with other people. Introverts are usually talkative in the company of people they know well, they are witty and good conversationalists (they will always listen to you carefully). But the company of unfamiliar people strains an introvert, and, as a rule, he prefers communication with himself to communication with strangers. Introverts are considered inactive people, but when they need to pursue some of their goals, they go to their solution very striving and persistently. Introverts love to plan things and leisure, and don't like when their plans are unexpectedly disrupted.
Extroverts are another matter. People with this personality type are open to the whole world. They are sociable, energetic. They are easy to get to know and easy to spend time with. Even if you don't know what to do, the extrovert next to you will always find something to do for you and for yourself. They are not bored with them, but extroverts will not keep a conversation for a long time if they are not interested in it, they will rather take matters into their own hands and turn the conversation to topics that are more understandable for them, while an introvert will try to figure out your problems too. Extroverts are always happy to get to know each other, so don't be upset if you are not their only friend, but they are able to maintain friendships with many people, whereas an introvert may need only one close person or friend. Extroverts love to be in a team, both during work and during rest. They will always look for company and easily maintain conversations with strangers, even not paying attention to the fact that they are seeing a person for the first time. Extroverts easily tolerate the lack of comfort and overcrowding in their home. The constant presence of many people in society is their natural state. Extroverts easily go through changes in plans for the day, for a week, and quickly rebuild. Extroverts are less demanding of people, accept a person as he is and do not seek to remake anyone, unlike introverts who are not averse to making adjustments to the uncomfortable sides of their neighbor's character. Introverts and extroverts choose their professions and hobbies according to their type. Introverts like to work where people do not walk, and if more than one person is required for the business, then the introvert will prefer to be in different offices with other employees, or at least he will be fenced off from them by a screen. If you're fortunate enough to share an office with an introvert, there will be less office fuss. An introvert will not sit down on the edge of the table and talk about his affairs, interfering with work, will not take your things without asking, will not burden you with his problems. But he will respond to your request if you contact him directly.
An extrovert won't sit alone in a room for long. He will go in search of other people. On the way, he will get to know those with whom he happened to be not yet familiar. When you work and play with an extrovert, you will never be alone. Extroverts easily choose topics for conversation, like to share their impressions of their work, take an interest in your activities, and tell about everything they saw during the current day. Extroverts love to decorate their offices, in addition to their workplace, they will decorate your workplace at the same time. It is not boring to work with extroverts in one team, they, as a rule, are great inventors and will constantly keep others in good shape.
Sometimes a person can combine both types of personality and in certain situations behave like an introvert, and in some circumstances demonstrate extrovert traits.
