Cryolipolysis - cold liposuction.
Adipose tissue plays an important role in the life support of the body, but its excess of health benefits does not bring and often annoys most people who monitor their appearance. In modern cosmetic medicine, there are several ways to deal with excess subcutaneous fat layer, but the least traumatic is the cryolipolysis procedure (cryoliposuction) - the destruction of adipose tissue cells by cooling them.
Cryolipolysis (Coolsculpting, cryoliposuction) is based on research in the field of cryotherapy on body tissues (cooling), and is based on the property of adipose tissue cells to break down faster than all other tissue cells when exposed to low temperatures of a certain level. Cells of subcutaneous fat are destroyed gradually over several months, which does not overload the body with decay products, does not cause intoxication.
The cryolipolysis apparatus includes a vacuum applicator with nozzles of various shapes, which contribute to the closest adherence to the fat fold. The temperature and strength of the vacuum pump are individually adjusted.
During the procedure, the layer of adipose tissue is pulled up to the nozzle, which makes it possible to separate it to some extent from the adjacent layers of muscle tissue and internal organs, so as not to cause hypothermia. After the procedure, the skin at the site of exposure turns red, temporarily loses sensitivity. After a short period of time, the discomfort disappears and the skin regains its original appearance. One cryolipolysis procedure lasts an hour. If it is necessary to repeat the procedure on the same area of the body, an interval of two months is made.
Cryolipolysis already in one session gives an impetus to the decrease in subcutaneous adipose tissue. The final effect is observed after three to four months.
Contraindications to cryolipolysis are skin diseases in the area of application of hardware nozzles, keloid scars, tissue damage that has not completely healed, cold allergies, cryoglobulinemia, pregnancy, Raynaud's syndrome.
Cryolipolysis is effective only in cases where a person simultaneously maintains a low-calorie diet, is engaged in physical exercise. Otherwise, the fatty tissue is replenished with new reserves.
