Vaccine against "swine" influenza A / H1N1.
The vaccine against "swine" influenza A / H1N1 of Russian production is available in several versions:
- Monogrippol - inactivated vaccine (injections),
- Pandeflu - inactivated vaccine (injections),
- Influvir is a live vaccine (intranasal spray).
The influenza A / H1N1 vaccine builds immunity for up to 12 months. Vaccination is carried out several months before the start of the potentially possible spread of the influenza A / H1N1 virus, has contraindications for use:
- Cannot be used in the midst of a flu epidemic;
- It is not used during the development of acute forms of diseases of any etiology and chronic diseases during the peak period;
- It is not used in persons with an allergic reaction to chicken protein;
- Not used for people with immunodeficiency conditions or using immunosuppressants (drugs to suppress immunity);
- Do not apply to persons with malignant neoplasms;
- Not used during pregnancy and lactation.
Side effects of the influenza A / H1N1 vaccine:
- Redness of the skin (at injection sites),
- General deterioration in well-being (passes quickly),
- Temperature rise (does not last long),
- Sore throat, nasopharynx, rhinitis (disappear in 2-3 days),
- Allergies to components, headache,
- Myalgia, neuralgia (rarely).
