The most important thing in maintaining health is not the treatment of the body, but the prevention of future diseases. But a person likes to be lazy and put off thoughts about maintaining health "for later", because now nothing hurts yet! But this is a wrong, unpromising approach to a future healthy life, because human health can be useful in the future not only to himself, but to his family and friends: to help children, communicate with grandchildren, look at great-grandchildren.
How to properly prepare the body for a future healthy life? This requires disease prevention. Do not wait for medical examination, look around and consider all the factors that can be potentially dangerous for you. With these dangerous factors, you will have to fight for your health.
Where can you expect a potential threat to your body:
- Harmful environment at work and at home,
- Poor quality food,
- Frequent stressful situations,
- Great physical and mental stress,
- Infections - bacterial, viral, protozoal, parasitic,
- Temperature drops (hypothermia and overheating),
- Harmful radiation: electromagnetic (from electrical appliances), radiation (from nearby sources), ultraviolet (from the open sun).
How to cope with this set of hazards?
- Try to settle for living in regions (or areas) with the most favorable environmental conditions, more often go on vacation to places of a healthy climate (to the sea coasts, lakes and wide rivers, to coniferous forests, to the steppe expanses or to places of abundance of geysers), do not neglect indoor air purifiers.
- Do a refreshing cleaning of your living quarters more often: collect dust, humidify surfaces and air, refresh furniture upholstery, carpets, curtains. Take the time to disinfect the walls and surfaces in the room.
- In hazardous work, strictly observe all measures for personal protection, do not take a volume of work, more than you should, for the sake of extra earnings. Try to go outside the harmful atmosphere of production at lunchtime and breathe fresh air.
- Take a closer look at food products, choose only fresh and healthy products for yourself, learn recipes for cooking dietary dishes, they relieve the load on the work of internal organs.
- Restrain yourself from nervous shocks, do not let stressful situations develop , you cannot extinguish a nervous situation, bypass it.
- Do not occupy all your time only with work to make money, give your body a deload, find a hobby you like and give it part of your free time.
- Try to dress for the weather, do not linger outside, if you feel that your body has become uncomfortable, change the place for a walk to a warmer or cooler one, depending on how you feel. When the sun is at its zenith, do not expose yourself to it - concentrated ultraviolet light weakens the immune system.
- During periods of viral infections, do not visit public places, smear the nasal openings with antiviral ointments to create an additional barrier for the viral infection to enter the respiratory system, take mild immunostimulants.
- Carry out vaccination according to the schemes proposed and worked out by health care for many years. Try to replenish the body with vitamins in the off-season. Take a test for your interest on the content of trace elements in your body - you will find out which trace elements you lack, and which ones you urgently need to get rid of (withdraw).
- Do not lift weights, they injure the ligamentous apparatus, load the spine, can cause pinching of the nerves, displace internal organs and lead to disability.
- Observe the hygiene of the body, hands, oral cavity. Remember that most of the microorganisms that can cause disease may already be on the surface of the skin and are just waiting for an opportunity to enter the body.
- Arrange electrical appliances in living quarters so that you do not have to sit or lie next to them or in their field of action for a long time.
Never neglect the preventive measures that your doctor advises you, sometimes disease prevention can seem like a waste of time, but do not forget that it works for your future.
