Immunity and nutrition.
Immunity is given to us by nature, but it is our task to keep the immune system in working order. And it is not easy - the environment is too aggressive, which constantly bombards our immune defenses, looking for gaps in it, which we ourselves sometimes create. Weakening the immune system is as easy as shelling pears, but keeping it at a high level means not violating ... nutritional rules! Nutrition is the important thing that we are able to give to the body, because one of the very complex immune defense systems - the complement system - is nothing more than a set of chemicals that cascade the attacks of antigens on our body, and the initial substances come from foods. What nutrition are good for immunity?
Nutritional error is monotonous and useless food. In the habit of eating certain foods (those that you like), foods that are vital for the body are forgotten in order to get the substances that the body synthesizes from the incoming food components. But immunity and nutrition are inseparable.
To get the correct current chemical reactions of immunity, vitamins, microelements, a full-fledged intestinal microbiocenosis, proteins and fats are needed.
Vitamins are directly involved in the production of enzymes in the body. One of the varieties of such enzymes, proteolytic enzymes, are participants in the complement system of humoral immunity. The most important vitamins for immunity are vitamins B, vitamins A, E, C. These vitamins are involved in regenerative processes, restore damaged cellular structures, and extinguish inflammatory reactions. This selection of vitamins in large quantities is not found in dietary food products, but in high-calorie foods: cereals, baked goods, vegetable and animal fats (including fish oil, marine fat), eggs, as well as vegetables and fruits.
Trace elements zinc, selenium, silicon, cobalt, phosphorus, iron are included in the structures of the tissues of the hematopoietic organs, which are the cradle of immune cells. Meat, fish, dairy products, nuts, seeds, vegetable oils are rich in these microelements.
Proteins are the structure of all cells of the immune system and all immune chemical reactions without exception. Losing weight is the first step in reducing immunity. Fats go side by side with protein structures and help each other in transporting through the body, promote the absorption of other substances, for example, fat-soluble vitamins, are a source of fatty acids that form cell structures, including the immune cell.
The microbiocenosis of the body is violated - and there is no way to synthesize many vitamins in the body itself, because it is the saprophytic bacteria that are engaged in this. And for the reproduction of such bacteria, a nutrient medium is needed - lactic acid products and fiber, which can be obtained only by eating something vegetable. The same bacteria do not allow pathogens to increase their colonies, and there is no need to in vain activate immune complexes to protect against such pathogens, which means that the immune system does not work idle.
The task of nutrition is not only to build an organism, but also to keep it on alert to repel harmful microorganisms.
