Junk food.
A healthy lifestyle that involves healthy eating often promotes the choice of foods that are only at first glance healthy, and their presence in the diet can contribute to the result that does not justify healthy approaches to food. Harmful food can await you among the most ordinary and seemingly healthy foods.
The desire for a predominantly plant-based diet often forces us to choose fruits and vegetables that are convenient for consumption. This applies to dried and dried fruits and vegetables. Due to the dehydration process, which is laid down by the technology, such fruits and vegetables turn out to be a source of a high percentage of sugar. And if an eaten ordinary apple or apricot causes satiety faster, filling the volume of the stomach, including the juice contained in them, then a person can eat much more dried similar fruits before satisfying the feeling of hunger.
Cottage cheese, it would seem, is a dietary product, but there is also a catch in curd products. Curd mass, even if it is made from low-percentage curd, contains fats, which are added during its manufacture to give the curd a pasty or creamy consistency. And stuffed with raisins, it also adds a decent percentage of carbohydrates to the diet in addition to fats.
Purchased salads, no matter how attractive a set of vegetables and fruits they are supplied with, are always flavored with mayonnaise or sunflower vegetable oil (and sometimes rapeseed oil is cheaper). This creates extra calories.
Popcorn is not a dietary product. But it is rarely sold without glaze (caramel, chocolate), which is actually equal in calorie content with ordinary sweets. And salted popcorn is generally a blow to the body's water-salt balance.
Juices and smoothies are considered healthy products, but their factory-made version contains high concentrations of sugar and preservatives (acids) that are not useful for metabolism or for the digestive tract.
Breads containing grains are very popular in a healthy diet, but they do not fulfill the functions that are assigned to them, since in addition to grains, they contain ordinary wheat flour, which is a storehouse of calories.
In order to adhere to a healthy direction in food, doctors - nutritionists recommend preparing meals from healthy foods on their own in order to know for sure whether their composition is useful or harmful to the health of the body.
