Fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia is understood as prolonged (more than three months) chronic pain symptoms that simultaneously appear in different parts of the body. This kind of pain is called diffuse. Most often, women suffer from fibromyalgia.
Medical science sees the causes of fibromyalgia in a genetic predisposition to neurodynamic disorders of the central nervous system under the influence of various kinds of stress factors. The examination does not find any changes in the structure of muscle or connective tissue.

Diagnosis of fibromyalgia is based on the sequential exclusion of diseases that are similar in terms of symptoms and the search for symmetrical pain points in the shoulder girdle, extremities, when pressed on which the pain spreads to other (trigger) points. Fibromyalgia is diagnosed jointly by a rheumatologist and a neurologist, since the symptoms of the disease are similar to many systemic rheumatic diseases and neuropathies.
Treatment for fibromyalgia includes drug therapy (antidepressants, muscle relaxants, local anesthetics), psychotherapy, and exercise therapy. You can conduct massage sessions, spa treatments are useful. Psychotherapeutic treatment is aimed at eliminating increased anxiety, suspiciousness, depression, sleep disorders. Physical activity on muscle tissue plays an important role in the treatment of fibromyalgia, in this regard, aerobics, dancing, jogging, swimming, yoga are encouraged.
