Impotence is a violation of erectile function.
Impotence is a disorder associated with impaired erection, the function responsible for changing the volume of the penis. An erection is provided by the work of blood vessels and innervation of the surface of the penis.
It is believed that the majority of cases of impotence are caused not by physiological and organic disorders, but by psychological problems, and only ten percent of cases of impotence are attributed to the cause of organic origin.
What is meant by impotence? The most common signs of impotence are:
- lack of erection at moments of sexual arousal;
- weak erection at moments of sexual arousal;
- Premature erection, when ejaculation occurs before intercourse.
Each specific case of impotence requires a thorough study of the physiology and functions of the genital organs, the work of the central nervous system, as well as the psychological stress that a man experiences.
The statistics of impotence cases in modern life is disappointing, since typical cases of age-related impotence are very diluted with cases of erectile dysfunction in the young male population, starting from 18 years.
Principles of impotence treatment:
- Begin the treatment of impotence with methods of psychological correction.
- There are hardware methods for treating impotence, the essence of which is electrical stimulation, vibration stimulation or vacuum stimulation of the sensitive receptors of the penis in order to induce an erection.
- Injection treatment for impotence is designed to induce a rush of blood to the corpus cavernosum and thereby induce an erection.
- The last frontier in the treatment of impotence is surgical intervention in order to increase the blood circulation in the penis, to restore the patency of the blood vessels. The surgical method is used when the diagnosis of pathologies shows organic changes in the structure of the genitals, their innervation and blood supply.
