The principle of operation of the syringe pistol:

A semi-automatic syringe pistol (looks like a plastic pistol) is pre-charged with a 5-gram disposable syringe filled with medication (the medication is drawn into the syringe by the patient himself). Before the injection, the injection site is lubricated with a disinfectant, a medical pistol with a loaded syringe is brought, and the trigger is pressed. Further (when the needle is pierced into the tissue), the plunger of the syringe (and not the pistol) is pressed and the medicine is injected in the required amount. The disadvantage of the device - this model imitates the dimensions of a real gun and requires the preliminary installation of a conventional syringe with a medicine.

Automatic syringe gun (looks like a fountain pen) is pre-charged with an ampoule of medicine (with an unopened rubber stopper). The ampoule can be stored in the body of the automatic syringe-gun without depressurization. At the moment the trigger is pressed, the needle pierces the ampoule cork, inserts the needle into the tissue, injects the injection solution at a certain speed and withdraws itself from the tissue. The patient only needs to lean the guiding side of the device tightly against the injection site and press the trigger, the syringe-gun will do the rest himself. The rate of drug administration is preliminarily regulated. The device is equipped with a safety guard against accidental pressing of the trigger. The automatic syringe gun is convenient for emergency cases, for a travel first aid kit and for carrying in a pocket, purse, cosmetic bag.

Needleless injector - a needleless syringe (reminiscent of a fountain pen), unlike the devices described above, is not intended for intramuscular injections, but only for subcutaneous injections. Since there is no needle in the device, the drug is injected by piercing the skin under high pressure. The device has a built-in protective mechanism against spontaneous pressing of the trigger. The needleless syringe, in addition to administering medications, is quite suitable for independent cosmetic injections of gels and liquids. The advantage of this device is an ampoule for a dosed set of the drug using special adapters.

A syringe gun for home injections is an indispensable thing, as it relieves the patient from nervous tension during the injection, and also allows you to do it on your own without outside help in treating the disease.

A medical syringe gun is especially useful for people with a strict schedule of injecting drugs, for example: diabetics, allergy sufferers and other drug-dependent patients.
