Dark circles under the eyes - a malfunction in the body.
Human skin is the organ that practically primarily reacts to disturbances in the work of various internal organs and their systems. Disruption of metabolic (metabolic) processes, malnutrition, overeating, chronic lack of sleep or insomnia, constant overload of the nervous system, hypovitaminosis, intoxication - this is an incomplete list of problems that will certainly be reflected in the condition of the skin.
Changing the color of skin under the eyes - it is a problem of all ages and both sexes. The fact is that the areas of the skin in the paraorbital region are the most vulnerable. There is almost no subcutaneous fat, sebaceous glands, the epidermis layer is thin and delicate. The network of closely spaced vessels in this area is clearly visible through a thin layer of skin, which often gives it a bluish-blue tint. In people with dark skin, blood vessels are less translucent than in people of blond type with thinner skin. On skin prone to redness, these areas do not look bluish, purple.
During the period of stressful conditions of the body (prolonged nervous tension at work, malnutrition, insufficient amount of fluid consumed, short sleep, polluted atmosphere indoors and outdoors), the skin around the eyes begins to deteriorate: it dries up, starts the process of keratinization, coarsens, changes color, sags. This creates a darkening effect and shades the skin under the eyes, and in conjunction with the fact that in the paraorbital region there is already some retraction of the skin in the orbit area, it seems that the "eyes are sunken". In thin people, the skin in the area of the eye sockets is more "sunken" than in fat people.
Many internal diseases change skin color ranging from yellowish to dark brown. And the darker the skin, the darker the shade of brown, and it seems that black circles have appeared under the eyes. Diseases of the kidneys and urinary system give the skin a yellowish tint, diseases of the liver and pancreas change the color of the skin to various shades of brown, constant inhalation of toxic substances or contact of the skin with poisonous vapors in hazardous industries changes the color of the skin from brown to dark gray shades. Intoxication caused by parasites or alcohol can give the skin under the eyes an earthy tint. Allergic reactions cause redness of the skin with a transition from pink to brownish. So the body signals that problems have begun in its various systems. Therefore, before it is pointless to use camouflage products to remove dark circles under the eyes, it is necessary to identify and treat a disease that changes skin color. Camouflage cosmetics will only temporarily put the face in order, but will not solve the problems. If you are one hundred percent sure that your dark circles under the eyes have nothing to do with diseases of the internal organs, then you can use whitening products to lighten the skin under the eyes. But it should be remembered that not all products with a whitening effect can be used for the skin around the eyes, and before lightening it, it is necessary to carry out a course of applying nourishing and moisturizing masks that will make the skin less vulnerable and more pliable. The least traumatic of bleaching agents: kefir, sour cream, fresh cucumber, lemon or apple juice.
