Thermage (radio-lifting).
Those who have never thought about improving the condition of their skin are most likely not thirty years old. Usually, interest in rejuvenation procedures appears in the period of 30-40 years, when the skin begins to lose its firmness and elasticity, hangs here and there, which causes displeasure among its owner. The many methods of skin rejuvenation offered by cosmetologists cause confusion and make it difficult to choose. Which method should you give preference to?
To correctly navigate the choice of methods for skin rejuvenation, you need to get to know everyone, choose the safest and most effective, and not hope for a long-term preservation of the rejuvenation effect, because this is from the realm of fantasy.
Cosmetology again offers a novelty - thermage (in other words – radio-lifting).
The radiolifting procedure is carried out using an apparatus that creates low-frequency radio-waves that penetrate to a predetermined depth into the skin and, according to the developers of the method, stimulate collagen-genesis. Thermage is a little painful. The duration of the procedure depends on the length of the treated area of the skin (usually no more than two hours).
Thermage is more likely to be a preventive rejuvenation procedure, therefore its use is advisable in people under the age of 40-45, when the processes of skin aging have not yet gained full strength.
Contraindications to the radiolifting procedure:
- Infectious and inflammatory skin diseases;
- Systemic skin diseases (lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, psoriasis, etc.);
- Pregnancy;
- Chronic diseases in the acute stage;
- Acute periods of any disease (colds, infectious, etc.);
- It is strictly forbidden to use thermage for people with a built-in pacemaker.
The advantages of the thermage procedure are that it is a method that is less traumatic for the skin and that there are no visible side effects.
