Bio-reinforcement of the face.
Bio-reinforcement occupies a niche among the various popular procedures for facial rejuvenation. Bio-reinforcement of the face is designed to give the face the same contours by tightening the sagging skin. But the degree of sagging of the skin matters, so the bio-reinforcement procedure is rather of a warning, prophylactic nature. A subcutaneous gel-like substance is injected into the area to be lifted, which stimulates the regeneration capabilities of the skin, the formation of connective tissue responsible for collagen and elastin, which form a framework that keeps the skin in an elastic state. Bio-reinforcement is aimed at the restoration of natural physiological processes in the skin, is low-traumatic and does not require a rehabilitation period.
The most convenient age for carrying out the bio-reinforcement procedure is from thirty to forty years. After fifty years, bio-reinforcement is unlikely to revive physiological processes that increase skin turgor, therefore, during this period, other methods of face correction and wrinkle elimination are used.
Bio-reinforcement has contraindications in addition to the age period:
- Violation of the rheological properties of blood (for example, viscosity);
- Skin diseases (infectious and inflammatory);
- The body's tendency to form keloid scars;
- Pregnancy and lactation period;
- Any diseases in the acute stage;
- Acute respiratory infections;
- Taking medicines incompatible with the substances that make up the biogel.
Bio-reinforcement with gel is carried out by injection in several stages with a break of two to three weeks. Biogel is a complex of compounds based on hyaluronic acid. The bioreinforcement procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. The effect of bio-reinforcement has a stable period of existence of up to two to five years.
