Mesotherapy - what is it?
The view that most cosmetics for skin care (creams, masks, tonics) have a superficial effect, and the substances that make up their composition do not penetrate into the deep layers of the dermis, where collagenogenesis occurs, scientists in the field of cosmetology had to come up with new ways of delivering substances necessary for skin rehabilitation to the dermis. This is how the idea of injecting biologically active substances was born, which was called "mesotherapy".
What results can you expect from mesotherapy?
- First, to improve blood circulation, and hence skin trophism.
- Secondly, start the processes of skin cell regeneration.
- Thirdly, to stimulate the sensitivity of the skin in a similar way to reflexology.
Which skin is suitable for mesotherapy?
- Fading, loose, dehydrated skin;
- Discolored skin, age spots;
- Skin with manifestations of couperosis.
Since mesotherapy is very close to medical procedures of a therapeutic nature, then, as with any medical intervention, there are contraindications to it.
Contraindications to mesotherapy:
- Skin diseases (inflammatory and infectious);
- Blood clotting disorders;
- Diseases in the acute stage;
- Acute respiratory infections ;
- Pregnancy and lactation period;
- Drug therapy incompatible with drugs for subcutaneous injection;
- The tendency to allergize the body;
- Metabolic disorders.
Mesotherapy procedures oblige a person to follow certain rules for skin care in the future. For example, the introduction of subcutaneous hyaluronic acid is incompatible with ultraviolet radiation, that is, for a long stay in the layers of the dermis and gradual resorption of hyaluronic acid, you will have to sacrifice a tan for the face.
Mesotherapy can be combined with other cosmetic procedures, but at the same time it is necessary to make certain time intervals between procedures, to alternate them correctly.
