Why alcoholic beverages make you sleepy?
A holiday isn't a holiday for most people if you do not entertain yourself with alcohol-containing drinks. Why alcoholic beverages make you sleepy, and what can be done to avoid drowsiness after drinking alcohol?
Alcohol in its chemical action is very close to substances that relax smooth muscles, namely, such muscle tissue forms the basis of the wall of blood vessels. But in both categories of people, a drowsy state after drinking alcohol will certainly come, but only at different periods of time.

Low alcohol drinks also help out in cases where you want to spend a holiday fun and active with the use of alcoholic beverages. And if you alternate taking small doses of alcohol with drinking coffee, then the vascular effect of alcohol will be much lower and slower.
In fact people with a tendency to rapidly dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure require some degree of willpower and endurance during the period of festive reception of alcoholic beverages. But such people rarely suffer from insomnia, and cannot complain of hangover problems, as they simply do not have time to take a large enough amount of alcohol to contribute to the development of a hangover.
Vasodilation at the time of taking alcohol-containing drinks is a natural physiological process that all people are subject to, but often too much alcohol in the body causes the opposite effect at the very beginning - unbridled activity, and sometimes aggressive behavior. This indicates excessive use of alcohol at a limited point in time and the development of an alcohol overdose state.
