Is homeopathy effective?
Homeopathic remedies, although they belong to alternative medicine, have long been in service with doctors of various medical fields: gastroenterology, dermatology, rheumatology, gynecology, neurology, pediatrics, etc. But homeopathy works only when prescribed correctly and has contraindications for use.
In fact, homeopathic remedies are highly diluted solutions of conventional pharmaceuticals, where dosages can be violated and, therefore, there is no therapeutic effect based on the loading dose of the drug.
You should not categorically use homeopathic remedies for the treatment of infectious diseases, for the fight against cancer, with diseases of any etiology in the acute period, as a means of first aid, as a means of replacing surgery.
When is homeopathy effective? The best use of homeopathic remedies is disease prevention. This is especially true for increasing immunity, preventing the development of nervous diseases, the chronic course of skin diseases of non-infectious origin.
As a rule, homeopathy is resorted to as an additional, rather than the main treatment, because there may not be any results from homeopathic treatment. In many cases, homeopathic treatment plays the role of a placebo and cannot claim to be scientifically effective.
