Prevention of hemorrhoids.
A disease that develops as a result of thrombosis of hemorrhoidal veins passing in the rectal region, in which nodes are formed (areas of a vein dilated as a result of thrombosis), are called hemorrhoids .
There are a number of factors that predispose to the development of hemorrhoids:
- Sedentary lifestyle combined with sedentary work;
- Excessive physical activity that requires muscle tension (including: lifting weights, carrying a child);
- Labor pain and constipation;
- Disturbances of blood circulation in the rectal area;
- Constipation tendency;
- Disruption of the digestion process, as a result of which large undigested particles injure the walls of the rectum;
- Diseases of the large intestine and rectum (dysbiosis, colitis, tendency to stone formation);
- Tumors in the colon and rectum;
- Infectious processes in the lumen of the rectum or large intestine;
- Food or drugs that interfere with peristalsis;
- Hereditary tendency to thrombosis.
In order not to provoke hemorrhoids, you must adhere to certain rules:
- Intersperse sedentary work with walks around the office (workshop, laboratory) or corridors between offices (workshops, laboratories);
- In free time from work, allocate periods for walking (for example, walk the last two or three stops to the house on foot). If there is no time for walks, at home you can arrange dances to rhythmic music, this will stimulate the blood circulation of the pelvic organs, and at the same time will prevent constipation;
- Revise the nutritional system towards the prevalence of soft, little traumatic to the intestines, food, chew food more thoroughly, and not swallow it at a fast pace;
- An excess of flour, smoked food in the diet disrupts the formation of feces of normal consistency, and this must be avoided;
- Balance drugs that violate peristalsis and provoke constipation with mild laxatives (herbs or fruits);
- Conduct prevention of intestinal infections and disorders such as dysbiosis;
- Avoid unbearable physical exertion (carrying furniture, lifting weights when harvesting, heavy bags from the store);
- In case of urgent need or inability to avoid the load, use bandages and special corsets;
- Regularly check the blood for the prothrombin index (determines the degree of blood clotting);
- If you have a tendency to thrombosis, use, as prescribed by a doctor, special means (suitable specifically for your state of health) that thin the blood;
- Control the regularity of the stool (ideally twice a day or at least once a day), and during the act of defecation, do not rush anywhere so that cracks and tears do not form;
- Timely treat inflammatory processes in the large intestine and rectum;
- Monitor the hygiene of the anus (baths or rinsing after each bowel movement);
- Avoid items of clothing that are too tight around the waist (they interfere with the blood supply to the lower torso).
Such prevention of hemorrhoids will allow you to avoid in the future very unpleasant moments associated with the treatment of hemorrhoids.
