What is not eaten with when the food is separate?
When they talk about a balanced diet, they mean a set of products that would cover all the components useful for the body - proteins, fats and carbohydrates. But there is also an alternative version of the correct diet, where proteins, fats and carbohydrates are not consumed at the same time, but broken down into separate meals - in this case, we are talking about separate nutrition.
The essence of separate meals is to simplify complex food designs, where proteins, fats and carbohydrates are present in the company and in complex combinations for digestion. Simple dishes, not flavored with sauces, not mixed with an abundance of hard-to-digest components, the body always assimilates more easily, without overloading the digestive tract and allowing each food element to be absorbed as much as possible.
Separate nutrition is not a way to lose weight, but an opportunity to put the digestive system in order, remove food waste, not overload the organs that produce digestive enzymes to break down certain food components, and ultimately get a healthy viable organism.
With a separate diet, all favorite foods are divided into groups according to the predominance of protein, fats or carbohydrates in them, and for each meal, that product is eaten that corresponds to one of the components (protein, fats, carbohydrates, respectively).
The distribution of proteins, fats and carbohydrates throughout the day should be consistent with the lifestyle of each individual. Before heavy physical activity, it is wiser to eat fatty foods. During a period of protracted intellectual activity, it is more effective to eat carbohydrates. Protein food is indispensable for maintaining muscle tone, building muscle mass, gaining weight.
Errors in food combination:
- Scrambled eggs with bacon, meat in batter, eggs stuffed with liver (both protein).
- Bakery products stuffed with jam, jam, spread on top with honey, chocolate butter, doused or soaked in sweet syrup (carbohydrate and carbohydrate "in one bottle").
- Fried meat dishes (fats and proteins at the same time).
- Meat salads with sour fruits and vegetables (protein plus acid).
- Meat with a side dish of cereals, pasta, meat sandwich with bread (proteins and carbohydrates).
Gourmets, having read about fundamental mistakes in eating with separate meals, will be indignant, because many culinary masterpieces are built precisely on a combination of different taste sensations: sour, sweet, salty. But each person is free to choose which diet to follow, and separate meals are a godsend for people accustomed to simple dishes: savory cereals, potatoes with herbs, vegetable salads with a minimum of ingredients, boiled meat or fish without spices, and similar dishes, each of which is used by itself.
