What is CrossFit?
CrossFit - it is a brand in the world of fitness, the system of physical exercises aimed at developing endurance of various body systems: respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal - motor.
CrossFit system exercises are selected from various fitness areas: strength training, athletics, aerobics, Pilates and others. Some CrossFit programs include rowing, swimming, cycling. CrossFit exercises are performed in interval training mode, but with a high degree of intensity without alternating moderate and intense loads. All physical activities are performed at high speed, but with different time periods. CrossFit is designed for the physical training of people whose profession requires high physical output: the police, the Ministry of Emergencies, the military, firefighters, coaches, professional athletes and similar professions.
Essentially, CrossFit trains the stamina you need in extreme situations. A quick transition from one type of exercise to another in a high-speed mode hardens the body, adding dexterity, accuracy, coordination, and strength to it.
CrossFit programs are individually tailored to the needs of the exercising people. Within the framework of CrossFit, competitions are organized between teams from different sports clubs.
To train according to the CrossFit system, you must have a certain degree of fitness and endurance of physical activity. For physically untrained people, CrossFit can be a factor in heart disease, articular and muscular apparatus.
Crossfit is not a safe form of fitness. Injury often occurs during intense physical activity.
