What is EMS training?
EMS is electromyostimulation. Several types of electromyostimulants have been invented, which are designed to train various muscle groups. The most popular in this area are abdominal electromyostimulants.
The attractiveness of electromyostimulant devices is that for a similar training of a group of abdominal muscles, incredible efforts, regularity and time consumption are required, and an electromyostimulator is designed to give the same result not tensely and between times.
At their core, electromyostimulants are good massagers for superficial muscle groups, capable of toning muscles and improving blood microcirculation in tissues.
But they are not able to pump up the muscles of the press (or any other muscles), since a completely different type of load on the muscle tissue is important, in which the muscles must experience static or dynamic (stretching) tension, which I cannot provide with electromyostimulants. But they can improve the trophism of tissues in the places of attachment, which is important for the health of the body and skin.
In addition, electromyostimulation can be effective in cases of muscle tissue atrophy, restoration of muscle activity in bedridden patients, maintenance of muscle tone in paralyzed patients, but as for increasing muscle mass or converting abdominal muscles into cubes, electromyostimulants are powerless here.
