Hair loss in women.
The problem of hair loss in women is as relevant as in men, but not everyone is ready to give up their hair and cut their hair "baldly". This problem especially affects middle-aged women and may have several reasons:
- Hormonal disbalance,
- Strong nervous shock,
- Poor nutrition,
- Diseases of the scalp,
- Lack of a certain group of vitamins,
- Aging processes,
- Heredity.
In order to solve the problem of hair loss, a woman must undergo a phased examination by doctors: a dermatologist, an endocrinologist, a gynecologist. The examination is carried out to identify chronic diseases or temporary disorders of the body. Analyzes are taken to reveal the level of hormones, analyzes for the composition of trace elements and vitamins.
According to the test results, a diet enriched with vitamin supplements and mineral complexes is prescribed. Drugs that regulate hormonal metabolism are selected.
There are a number of drugs that stimulate hair growth, but their use must be treated judiciously (with the recommendation of a doctor), since some of the drugs can stimulate hirsutism.
Hair loss caused by heredity or aging is practically not treatable, but requires particularly careful hair care so as not to cause mechanical and chemical damage (inert shampoos, balms and hair gels, not burdened with chemically active components, gentle combing of hair, refusal from perm, light hairstyles that do not tighten hair).
Hair loss caused by severe stress and anxiety can be stopped by taking sedatives.
There are hair extension procedures to restore hair density.
