Hair transplant.
Baldness problems bother people of both sexes equally, because hair gives a certain aesthetic frame to the face, decorates it.
Since the field of medicine - transplantation - has long crossed the border between the vital necessity of organ replanting and cosmetic procedures to improve the appearance, then, of course, hair transplantation was included in the package of necessary cosmetic methods to improve the appearance of a person.
Hair transplantation today can solve the problems of people with androgenic alopecia, baldness due to scarring, hair loss due to chronic skin diseases. It also gives the opportunity to change the hairline (get rid of receding hairline and high forehead).
Hair transplantation involves two methods: patchwork and seamless hair transplantation (micrografts).
The donor of hair follicles is the person who needs a hair transplant. Hair follicles are taken from areas of the skin that are little exposed to the action of androgens (occipital and temporal parts of the head, back, chest and other possible areas with scalp).
The flap method involves excision of a flap from the occipital part of the head (about 2000 follicles), cutting it into pieces of 3-4 follicles, creating holes in the skin and replanting islets. The procedure is minimally invasive, does not require a hospital and after a few days it is possible to wash your hair.
The seamless method of hair transplantation involves the excision of micrografts (hair follicles) using micro-instruments, the creation of holes and the replanting of micrografts. The advantage of the method is the ability to point hairs, alternating them with the existing hair in the selected area. This allows you to fill in scars, thicken thinning hair, restore defects in hair growth in the mustache and beard area in men, correct the hairline on the face (remove bald patches and lower the hairline in the forehead area).
Transplantology has achieved high results in long hair transplantation using the patchwork method, which saves the appearance of women suffering from hair loss as a result of hormonal disruptions and skin diseases, in places of scars resulting from burns or as a result of surgery.
Contraindications for hair transplantation:
- skin infections,
- tumors in the area of hair transplant,
- reduced immunity, inhibiting healing processes.
