Hair diet.
Despite the fact that hair is an appendage of the skin, many people believe that the health of the hair depends on caring for it. But at its core, hair is a derivative of the skin - it forms and grows from special cellular structures that form follicles - the birthplace of hair. Whatever is good for the quality of the skin is great for the condition of the hair. Hair care gives it a neat appearance, many cosmetic procedures for hair improve their thickness, fluffiness, elasticity and prevent brittleness. But nutrition enables hair to be born and grow healthy. What nutrition does hair need?
Four principles of maintaining the health of the scalp determine the health of the hair:
- balanced nervous system,
- good trophism of the head skin (blood supply to the skin),
- thoughtful drinking regimen,
- regular hygiene procedures.
No matter how healthy a person diet is, constant stress will lead to accelerated hair loss, and it is almost impossible to stop such a rate of hair loss without calming the nervous system. In order not to take pharmaceuticals to inhibit the nervous system, agitated by stress, you need to learn how to manage your inner peace with the help of willpower and with the help of various sedative procedures, which include measured tea drinking. Soothing teas are prepared with the participation of those types of edible plants that are usually used according to the recommendations of a herbalist as sedative infusions. The variety of herbal teas allows you to choose pleasant flavor combinations for every occasion of relaxation and rest.
All nutrition enters the skin through an extensive capillary system. The blood supply is responsible for the transfer of the necessary substances to the skin. To nourish the hair, it is necessary for the circulatory system of the skin to work properly, it must be stimulated by massage. To improve skin trophism and, accordingly, hair nutrition, a head massage and various physiotherapy procedures are performed (for thermal irritation of the nerve endings of the head skin).
Everything that a person eats has a certain chemical composition, and chemical components can create such combinations in organisms that may not benefit general health, and hair health in particular. For this reason, focusing on the hair diet, it is necessary to take into account and increase in the nutrition those substances that have a direct impact on improving the quality of the skin and hair. These are the B vitamins, and in particular, they are vitamin B1 and vitamin B6. Improve hair nutrition fat-containing products, which include fatty acids. Whether your hair gets greasy quickly or not, high-fat foods must be included in your hair diet. Foods high in Iron, Calcium, Phosphorus and Sodium are very useful for hair.
Hair needs hygiene only as it becomes dirty, and nothing more, since hair likes to grow in a “greasy” environment among well-functioning sebaceous glands. Excessive drying of hair and frequent washing of hair with alkaline shampoos leads to the dissolution of sebum and deterioration of the hair. The sebaceous glands do not work well in a diet that is designed to reduce fat. For this reason, any diet associated with weight loss must take into account the fatty components of nutrition, otherwise along with the loss of excess weight, hair loss will also occur.
The hair diet consists of a combination of dairy, lactic acid products and derivatives of dairy products (cottage cheese, cheese, feta cheese, butter, cream) with a high percentage of fat content. If weight loss is planned, then the fat component in food is transferred to fatty fish varieties in order to compensate for the lack of dairy animal fats with seafood fats (fish oil). Fruits of plants rich in fats very useful in dietary nutrition for hair. These include avocados, corn, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, nuts. In total, dietary nutrition for hair looks like a set of dishes from fatty fish, dairy and milk-derived foods, various nuts and fatty seeds, foods with the use of vegetable oils and butter, dishes from livestock and poultry products rich in healthy cholesterol (meat and fish broths, eggs, liver). With an enhanced diet for hair, the amount of salt is not reduced, that is, the dishes are salted as it is necessary for normal nutrition. Sugar is bad for hair, but not salt. This principle must be observed when reducing sugary foods in the diet. For hair, nutrition with the participation of spicy-flavoring plants is harmful, which means that in cooking spices are not used for nourish the hair.
Attention should be paid to the fact that a diet that restricts the intake of any food should be based on the principles of maintaining healthy skin and hair, since it is the condition of the skin (and the condition of the hair) that is the benchmark for understanding the state of general health.
