Health for a lifetime >>>> Less sleep means more pain
Less sleep means more pain.
The life of modern society is so impetuous and eventful that a person begins to save on sleep time in order to free him up for other matters: improving his financial situation, entertainment, intellectual or physical development, and the like. Despite the opinion of scientists that it is necessary to spend at least nine hours a day on sleep, the current generation of people devote themselves to sleep from four to seven hours.
But lack of sleep, especially chronic, does not pass without leaving a trace for human health, because sleep is the time when the body is working to restore wasted reserves, "mending" weak points. Even a slight lack of sleep gives rise to diseases of the nervous and cardiovascular system, causes mental disorders, malfunctions of the myocardium, muscle weakness, poor digestion, and dermatological problems.
Sleep time is often shortened due to insomnia, when the mechanisms of relaxation of the nervous system do not work in time and the brain continues to keep a person awake. In addition, bad dream plots interrupt sleep and thereby reduce the time allotted for it in addition to the person's desire.
To get enough sleep, you need to learn how to fall asleep properly:
- Do not eat food just before bed, so that the body is not distracted by the digestion process.
- Do not engage in activities before bedtime that excite rather than calm the nervous system.
- Do not exercise on the eve of sleep.
- Always prepare the room in which you are going to sleep (ventilate, create a comfortable temperature, aromatize with hateful odors).
- The sleeping place should correspond in terms of comfort to the conditions for relaxation (cozy, pleasant to tactile sensations, suitable for the size of the human body, having a sufficiently large space for possible body turns during sleep).
- Sleepwear should be made of natural fibers so as not to irritate the skin, cause allergic symptoms, rub it while moving, or pull tight parts of the body (the best fabrics are natural silk or cotton (viscose, poplin, batiste, etc.)).
- Silence or quiet calm music that works to relax will help the body to concentrate on sleep.
