Plans for life - is it worth building them?
There are many common phrases that planning your life is pointless, since these plans still collapse. But I don't want to live life without special prospects for the future either. So what can be done? To live thoughtlessly and disordered, or still build these most rosy plans, which, perhaps, are not destined to come true?
If you do not want to wake up one fine day, get away from the hustle and bustle and find that almost your whole life has passed somehow meaningless, then start planning it. The whole question of life planning comes down to building short-term and long-term plans. Short-term plans need to be more realistic than long-term ones. These plans for life are tied to the realities of life for about five to seven years. What can be done (read - plan) over the years:
- Get an education (and possibly more than one);
- Get experience in any field of activity;
- Try yourself in various fields of activity;
- Learn a foreign language (and start learning a second);
- To buy a car;
- Travel;
- Read a certain number of books.
Long-term plans do not have to be unshakable, they will be subject to adjustment over time in relation to changing reality. But this does not mean that these plans should be abandoned.
Of course, there is always the possibility of force majeure circumstances that can dramatically disrupt long-term plans. But it is worthwhile to understand that a temporary departure from movement towards a cherished goal is not a rejection of it, but simply an elongated path to it.
What can be planned in the long term:
- Family;
- Business;
- Change of residence;
- Own consistency;
- Career;
- A cardinal change in activity (you also need to be prepared for such a turn in life).
In long-term plans, a share of imagination is always appropriate, because no one knows in advance what circumstances of life will "play into your hands". The main thing is to adhere to the main course and during the "storms" not to go like a stone to the bottom, but to try to stay on the "surface" of life.
